The Building Our Legacy Campaign will enable St. Elizabeth to construct a Gathering Center. The Gathering Center will feature a Chapel that will provide an intimate, spiritual space for daily Masses, prayer experiences for school classes, small memorial services, and daily prayer. Parishioners will converse, deepen fellowship, share a meal, or bereave a loved one in the new Social Room. For informal gatherings, an adjacent and inviting community patio and fire pit will welcome guests.
The Scouts will have a room and access to separate outdoor space for meetings and ceremonies. The Uniform Exchange Depot and the Food Pantry will operate effectively from the Gathering Center. School and parish ministries will have space for storage and meetings and the Parish Staff will have new workspaces to conduct daily business efficiently in a welcoming, comfortable environment.
St. Elizabeth will update the current garden and green space on the east side of Main to a multi-purpose field. The parish will remove the vacant convent and outdated parish ministry center and replace them with approximately 70 additional parking spaces. Finally, to strengthen our financial health, St. Elizabeth plans to retire its debt associated with the construction of the ECC and the purchase of the rectory.
