The Adult Faith Formation ministry offers a wide variety of opportunities for adults to learn and grow in their faith. We come together both in person and online for topical series, bible studies, Small Faith Groups, presentations, prayer and spiritual development, service opportunities, and more. We strive to deepen our love for God and neighbor and become intentional disciples who build community and the Kingdom of God. What is Pope Francis Saying About LGBTQIA+ and Same Sex Couples?
Join us for a four-session discussion in May led by Biagio Mazza on recent papal documents dealing with LGBTQIA+ and same-sex couples. Titled Toward Building the Beloved Community: Are LGBTQIA+ Persons Created in the Image and Likeness of God? We will examine chapter 8 of Pope Francis’ Amoris Laetitia, “The Joy of Love,” and the Blessings of Same-Sex Couples in Fiducia Supplicans.
Attend by Zoom on Wednesday evenings or in-person on Thursday mornings in Seton Hall.
Zoom Sessions: Wednesday evenings, May 1, 8, 15, and 22, 7 – 8:30pm
In-Person Sessions: Thursday mornings, May 2, 9, 16, and 23, 2024, 10 – 11:30am (May 9 session will meet 11:00am – 12:30pm)
