Welcome:
St. Elizabeth Catholic Parish is a vibrant, Christ-centered community whose primary purpose is to celebrate the sacred liturgy and the Sacraments. Empowered by the Sacraments, we are called to personal holiness, to spread the word of God, and to actions of generosity and compassion toward all of God's people. We aspire, through prayer and action, to further God's kingdom on earth.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The RCIA provides a program of instruction, prayer, and ritual celebrations for persons interested in the Catholic Church. During a year-long process, the RCIA allows time for study and personal conversion. This program is open to all persons interested in the Catholic Church; parishioner-sponsors for candidates are needed each year. Catholics renewing their faith are also welcome. Classes meet weekly, September through June.

Interested in the Catholic Church?
We welcome non-Catholics who are interested in learning more about the Catholic Church, or who may be thinking about becoming Catholic. There will be an inquiry meeting in August. We will answer questions, and explain the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), the process by which adults join the Church. There won't be any pressure to join, and you don’t have to have made any decisions. This is just a chance to ask questions and learn more about us. Parishioners are strongly encouraged to invite non-Catholic friends who may have been thinking about joining the Church to attend this session. The RCIA process begins September 4, 2012 so now is the time to find out more.
Anyone interested is encouraged to call Katie Mitchell in the parish office at 523-2405.
